I couldn’t recommend Ashraf more! I came to him having picked up some bad habits less than 2 weeks before my test. Ashraf offered me the Tune Up 2 package, he scheduled me in last minute and I passed my test!! He’s the best in the biz!

I honestly can’t recommend Vancouver Driving School enough. After not driving for about 10 years, getting back behind the wheel was super nerve-wracking. Shafi was such a great instructor. He was calm, supportive, and always really clear during lessons, which made a huge difference in helping me build my confidence on the road. His knowledge and patience are exactly what you want in a driving instructor. I did five lessons total, plus a warm-up and car rental for my road test, and I passed on my first try! They also have a ton of flexible options, whether you’re looking for lesson packages, a single lesson, or just a car rental for your road test - there’s something for everyone. After years of not having my license be the bane of my existence, VDSI (Shafi!) finally helped me make it happen! 😊thank you!!

I had an excellent experience learning to drive with Shafi! I was a complete beginner when I started and quickly got to a place where I felt very comfortable behind the wheel.. Shafi was extremely patient and helpful: I highly recommend him. My only complaint is that the organisation from the back office was not always that great - perhaps they could invest in some kind of digital booking system as it feels fairly archaic to book lessons through a slow process of back-and-forth emails..

I took 5 lessons with VDS in the fall and felt like my instructors did not cover everything I needed to know. I was right. I re-booked in the spring and took 3 lessons with Shafi. He taught me everything I needed to know. Knowledgeable, kind, and encouraging: He is the one to go to!

My experience was absolutely amazing. This one is specially for immigrants who know how to drive but need to unlearn ways that aren’t Canada safe. Mr Shah and Ashraf were very patient and extremely methodical. During practice sessions we covered almost every possible route and testing points that could be done.

I had an amazing experience learning from Ashraf. He is incredibly calm, patient, and very knowledgeable. He always took the time to explain everything in detail and made sure I fully understood each concept. I failed my first driving exam with a different driving school, where the instructors were not nearly as knowledgeable or supportive. Switching to Ashraf made all the difference, and I passed my exam with confidence. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a professional, knowledgeable and patient driving instructor!
