A special thanks to Thomas and Shafi — both are excellent instructors who are patient, clear, and genuinely encouraging. They made learning to drive a positive and stress-free experience. Shafi (as my young adults) instructor for a few months exceeded my expectations in his professionalism, integrity, knowledge, safety and skills. VDSI is integral for safety, confidence and security in passing an N test they did. I recommend very highly to anyone seeking lessons also as the office staff are very accommodating.

I took lessons with Thomas and Ashraf this year and passed my class 7 on the first try! Both of them were extremely patient, informative and instilled proper driving habits. They also do a great job of running you through what is tested and all types of intersections and streets. I would highly recommend either of them as instructors!

I am so happy to have passed the ERA driving test, and the coaching I got from Ashraf was the key. Although I have had 70 years experience driving and had studied the ICBC driving manuals, I failed on the first try. So I sought driving instructors to teach me the current regulations and help me get rid of my bad habits. After trying two instructors from other driving schools, I was lucky to find Ashraf at the Vancouver Driving School. With his calm guidance through the various ICBC test procedures, he tremendously improved my driving habits, sufficiently to pass the test. He's a great teacher.

Our daughter passed on her first attempt. Shafi was very kind and patient with his instructions. He clearly answered all of her questions with detailed step by step instructions. He built her confidence by running though different scenarios and was encouraging when mistakes were made. We would 100% recommend Shafi as a driving instructor.

Just passed my road test thanks to Vancouver Driving School! I took the Tune Up 1 package and had Ashraf as my instructor. He was gentle, patient, and very knowledgeable. He quickly identified my weaknesses and helped me work on them right away. His calm teaching style made it easy to understand what I was doing wrong and how to correct it. We even had a small chat before the road test, and he reassured me that I was doing great and was going to pass, which really boosted my confidence. Highly recommend booking lessons here!
